About This Project

When a patient is scheduled for joint-replacement surgery, trepidation is natural. When Northwell Health’s new orthopedic hospital at Long Island Jewish Valley Stream Hospital was looking for a way to allay patients’ fears and answer their questions, they turned to Onward. Our team created a take-home video player that gives orthopedic patients helpful information about their upcoming surgery, familiarizes them with the process and introduces them to the team and the facilities.
